As holiday season is fast approaching and we have to think of how are going to spend the money wisely on sharing gifts to family and love ones. There are many ways you can stretch your dollar.
Start Budgeting Early in the Year
Previous years ago I decided to do a little savings aside form my salary in order for me to have enough money to spend during the holidays. I save at least $20.00. For I will have my every two weeks and therefore I get up to $520.00 that end up of being $520! This was more than enough for my gift experiences giving and I didn't have to worry about paying off credit cards or being embarrassed because I couldn't afford to give someone a gift. Depending on the budget you require, start saving now - it's never too late.
Start a Gift Closet
Another thing I started doing was buying gifts at the after Christmas sales and other sales through out the year for friends and family members. It save my money as well as it helps me to be more organized and gives me enough time to look for memorable gifts for my family and friends.
I have a storage container in my closet where I put all these gifts right next to my box of wrapping paper and ribbons. I also have a box for my greeting cards that any many I can locate it if needed.
Be Initiative.
It is advantage for you if you have the hobby of making stuffs and you probably make some of it for your love ones and you have idea what they like best. A girlfriend of mine is fond of making beaded bracelets and necklaces one day she asked me what I like on Christmas so I said I wanted to have a beautiful breaded necklace and so she make one for me.It is one gift that not only do I enjoy wearing but always reminds me of our friendship.
Be Organized
Before going out to shop for a gift, make sure you have an idea what you are planning to buy. Make a list of the things you need to buy so that it you will be guided.You also need to consider the amount of each gift you will buy so that you know how much did you spend for the experience gifts.
